Barbara has been in the travel industry since attending Ambassador Institute of Travel in 1996. After working in a full service agency for over a year she decided that she could serve her clients more effectively by opening her own agency. Thus, Southern Cross Travel and Tours was born.

Barbara enjoys planning trips to all the “remarkable destinations” throughout the world but you don’t have to be around her long to know that Australia, New Zealand and the Islands of the South Pacific are her favorite places to visit. She is one of only 2 “Premier Aussie Specialists” in the state of Tennessee, a certification awarded by Tourism Australia to the Top Aussie Specialists in the United States and Canada. She is a Master Cruise Counselor and has also been awarded specialist certifications by the tourist boards of New Zealand, Fiji, and Hawaii and will complete her training as a Tahiti Specialist this year.

Barbara is proud of her certifications but believes that developing long-term business relationships with her clients is more important than any title. Beth Smith

Beth has been involved in the travel industry for over 7 years. Her desire to help her family and friends find the best travel deals available led her to this career. An avid cruiser, Beth takes pleasure in matching first-time and veteran cruisers, with the best cruises possible. She is also a specialist in arranging Honeymoon Travel and enjoys working with couples as they plan their unique getaways. Beth’s most recent travels have taken her to Ireland, Germany and New Zealand. Marlene, our Ohio rep, has been selling travel for 11 years and loving every minute of it. She enjoys designing "experiences" to suit every traveler's need. Marlene is a certified Aussie Specialist and also a Kiwi Specialist, and to keep current with the latest information on South Pacific travel, she visits Australia at least once every year.
Having traveled to all parts of western Europe, along with Morocco and Turkey, she is ready to assist with personalized travel to all parts of the globe.
